At Accenture, we feel strongly about the importance of inclusion and diversity. We’re hosting an exclusive event for female students and graduates to help you learn more about Accenture and our Information Security practice.
The event will involve a panel discussion where you can ask our graduates about everything from employability skills to the work we do and our culture. You will have a tour of our Innovation Centre, get involved in recruitment sessions and find out how to excel at an interview, as well as network with experts across various business areas over lunch. This will then be followed by an assessment centre for a role on our Information Security graduate programme.
Information Security Graduate Programme
Threats to cyber security are increasing. Are you keen to become one of the next generation of cyber security specialists?
On this programme, you’ll develop your expertise in information security and use your business consulting acumen to collaborate with our clients to design, build and implement pragmatic security solutions. You’ll be helping our clients analyse the problem, working with technical partners such as Symantec, Oracle and HP, understanding the security architecture, and assisting with the implementation and management of new security systems.
What you’ll learn
We’ll provide you with comprehensive training. This will include the possibility of individual self-study leading towards CISSP, CSM and ISO27001 lead auditor qualifications. You’ll also work alongside managers and senior managers on big-name client organisations, enabling you to develop skills in project management and methodology, solutions delivery and security assessment.
What’s in it for you
As well as the prospect of a great career centred around improving the way the world works and lives, you can look forward to a competitive starting salary and a generous holiday allowance. Other benefits include a pension scheme, personal laptop, an AMEX card, private healthcare, subsidised gym membership, season ticket loan and much more besides. For a comprehensive list of all our benefits, visit our website.
What we’re looking for
This programme is open to those with a minimum 2:1 degree. We look for either a STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) with information security subjects, or relevant work experience such as an internship.
You’ll be a ‘people person’, well-rounded and happy to take on new challenges. Flexibility is important, as you’ll be joining a versatile industry. You’ll need the communication skills to work with different teams but also the motivation to operate independently, across the UK and sometimes Europe. You should expect to be taken out of your comfort zone and discover something new all the time – so a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn will be key.
If you are successful, you will need to be available for start dates between Oct 2020 and July 2021.
Where you’ll work
You will need to live within commutable distance of your home office which will be London. Due to the nature of our work, you may be delivering projects on client sites anywhere in the UK and sometimes outside of the UK. You will need to be prepared to travel and sometimes live away from home for long periods of time.
Deadline for applications is 28/2/2020.
