Teach First Summer Internship

This Summer Scheme is a 3-week programme which gives Teach First participants who have completed their first LDP year, the chance to gain work experience at Accenture.

From day one, you’ll have a ‘buddy’ who has previously completed the Teach First LDP and they will be on hand to give you the experienced advice you need, whenever you need it throughout your internship and beyond. In our business, you learn by doing and, after a 2 day induction, you’ll be immersed in live consulting project work and you will be able to make your mark on a global business, while building connections with talented people across our organisation.

Your project could be in any part of our Consulting workforce and the day-to-day tasks will vary - you could be involved in undertaking research and analysing complex information, designing training for a new customer management system, testing software or helping a healthcare client enhance their customer experience to name but a few.

This is a chance to capitalise on your ingenuity, adaptability and critical thinking to create solutions for many of the world’s largest businesses whilst giving you an insight into what life is like at the sharp end of business and technology evolution.

By the end of the scheme, you will come away with some valuable skills – and hopefully an offer to join us when you finish teaching!

What’s in it for you

As well as the prospect of a great career centred around improving the way the world works and lives, you can look forward to a competitive pro-rata salary and a generous holiday allowance. You’ll also be part of a vibrant graduate community with training, support and plenty of social events.

What we’re looking for

You will have achieved a minimum 2:1 in your degree and will have just completed your first year of the Teach First Leadership Development Programme. A strong communicator with great organisational skills and a real passion for learning about how technology can make a real difference to business.
